Final Major Project Brief
Section 1:
The title of this project is to design a clothing line called EnATee, my aim is to create a website which promotes my products – such as T-Shirts, Jeans, Hats, & Hoodies. I want my clothing line to have an artistic approach rather than having it plain and more fashion conscious. My clothing will be more of an graphic design or alternative clothing other than top end fashion clothing.
I will also make examples of designs, and use a wide range of advertising material. I will also create a sketchbook to show research and designs as well as sketch ideas to show development.
I will reflect on my progress using annotation in my sketchbook and design sheets.
Section 2:
I will research into different clothing brand from music clothing to popular fashion labels as well as sports labels.
e.g. Reebok, Nike, Henley’s, Drop dead, Bench etc.
I will also be looking into different clothing websites and how they are layed out and colours schemes to influence my own website when I create it.
I will be looking at different logo designs and deciding what works well for my own. I’m going to research into different typography websites as well to have a varied amount of research into my project.
I could research into different fashion designs of today and include them into my sketchbook as inspiration for my own designs that I will create.

Section 3:
Once I have completed my research I will start to be creating my own website based on my own ideas and what I have looked at in my research. I will also be creating designs using Photoshop & Illustrator to upload onto my website as well.
I will document my project in printed format, on A3 Sheets as well as creating a sketchbook, which will be continually added to with designs and sketches; it will also have research in this as well. I think from my research I will do some idea generation, Mind Maps etc around choosing with website layout to have etc.
I will put my website online so that it will live. I also will print out screens in A3 colour to show my work.
Section 4:
For the evaluation I will self-assess my work as well as gather feedback from other people by producing a questionnaire on my website. I will promote my own website so that I can gather a wide range of responses. I will also be putting a page on my website where users can write feedback of what they think.
Week 1: Research – Websites, Flash, Clothing Brands etc
Week 2: Research – Sketchbook pages Research, images of different clothing, brand names.
Week 3: Research – Sketchbook, Own designs, Ideas different materials, Patterns, Sketch ideas etc
Week 4: Finishing Research – Researching into Typography, Logo’s, Banners, Colour Schemes, Creating & trying out layouts, & Logo’s.
Week 5: Starting work on website & designs to go up onto website.
Week 6: Continuing with website & Constantly adding to sketchbook as go along.
Week 7: Working on more product designs & Logo – finished. Carrying on with Website.
Week 8: Finishing website & Uploaded to web host. Bought URL EnATee.co.uk as well.
